Yahshua the Messiah warns us in the Scripture that those that do not keep the Sabbath and those that teach us that we do not need to keep the Sabbath will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
And whoever shall abolish one of these least commandments, and shall teach the sons of men so, the same will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoever shall keep one of these least commandments, and shall teach the the sons of men so, the same will be called greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. (HRV Matthew 5:19)
"Whoever, then breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. (ISR Mattithyahu 5:19)
The Sabbath had been kept since creation, long before the commandments were given so even if the commandments had never been given we would still be keeping the Sabbath today and according to the Scripture the Sabbath and Hodesh (New Moon which starts the Hebrew calender month) will remain even in the new heavens and new earth during the millennial reign.
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says YHWH, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, says YHWH. (HRV Isaiah 66:22-23)
"For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me," declares YaHuWaH, so your seed and your name stand. "And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship Me," declares YaHuWaH. (ISR Yeshayahu 66:22-23)
There is so much more to the Sabbath than acknowledging that he is Creator by resting on the seventh day. Yahweh says that it is a special sign between him and his people.
I am the YHWH your Elohim; walk in My statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them; And hallow My sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am YHWH your Elohim. (HRV Ezekiel 20:19-20)
'I am YaHuWaH your Elohim. Walk in My laws, and guard My right-rulings, and do them. 'And set-apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am YaHuWaH your Elohim.' (ISR Yehezquel 20:19-20)
I noticed He said "My Sabbaths" and not "your Sabbaths" and I also see that in the Scripture His Sabbath is on the seventh day. Some people will do or say anything to justify not keeping His Sabbaths but they are robbing themselves of the blessings that come with keeping it.
